Club Captain’s Report
Hello, the swimming season is well under way and we have had some great swims. I would like to make special mentions of Rachel Roberts and Amy Piper who competed at the Midland Districts Championships along with me. Other mentionable swims are the Mercian and Nuneaton teams who have been striving for success in recent galas.
At the moment training is going well, especially with the additional pool time available for the Gold squad at The Kings School, Worcester and Holy Trinity School, Kidderminster. Everyone is putting all their effort into most sets, which is good but can be improved.
Finally, I would like to say good luck to all those swimmers chosen for the Mercian and Nuneaton team for the up and coming galas. If you are not chosen for the team don’t worry about it; try harder, train harder and soon you will be getting chosen for galas. Never stop trying. However, most importantly you should have fun and also good luck to the swimmers taking part in the Club Sprint Championships.
