Well done to everyone who won medals in their Age Groups, and to those who medalled in Championship finals - you should all be really proud of your achievements!!

Right - it's the time when we can now publish the final Victor and Victrix Ludorum tables. Remember that points for these tables are awarded to the top six swimmers in each of the 18 events - 6 points to the overall winner, 5 points to second, etc down to 1 point for the sixth place finisher.

In the Girls championship, Ruth Hadley has once again had a phenomenal season, winning each and every one of the 18 events, and running away with the Victrix Ludorum title. Not only does she have to find somewhere to show off 18 trophies at home, her name is slowly taking over the club record lists.  Congratulations also to Rachel Bradley and Lottie Rushton on commendable 2nd and 3rd places in the table.

Things were a little tighter in the Boys championship,  although Ben Gallant ended up taking the title by a healthy 30 point margin, racking up 9 event wins along the way. Other event winners in the Boys championship were Robin Williams (5), Anthony Redfern (2), and Chris Jenkinson (2), with Anthony and Robin finishing 2nd and 3rd in the Ludorum table.

I hope everyone agrees that this has been a simply awesome club championship season, and that everyone is as proud as I am of the performances put in throughout the club. It's great to see such a competitive group of youngsters with such a healthy desire for competition - and this runs all the way through the squads from senior to junior.
