Poor behaviour |

Important message to all parents of swimmers:
Please remember that the Droitwich Leisure Centre is a public facility, and that the behaviour (and welfare) of your children whilst they are in the Leisure Centre is YOUR responsibility. When on poolside and in the water, the coaches and poolside helpers within the club will share responsibility for both behaviour and welfare, but that remit does not extend to changing rooms, corridors, etc.
The club has recently received complaints from the Leisure Centre regarding a number of activities in the boys changing room that simply cannot be tolerated, including:
If this behaviour does not stop immediately, DDSC may find itself without a pool, and that would obviously be the end of the club.
Please make sure that it is not your child that is the cause of these issues. If things do not improve, the club may be required to investigate further, and anyone found to be abusing the Leisure Centre facilities may be asked to leave the club. Furthermore, vandalism is a criminal offence, and the Leisure Centre would be at liberty to take any subsequent action they feel necessary.
With respect to the corridor alongside the pool (by the notice board) - remember that this is a walkway, and NOT a playground. It is inappropriate and dangerous for children to be holding athletics training sessions, or cricket bowling practice, in this area.
To repeat - YOU are responsible for YOUR children's behaviour whilst in the Leisure Centre. Please help the club to help you by ensuring that your children behave appropriately, so that club sessions can continue in a safe and rewarding manner.
Thanks
Steve Redfern
