To all swimmers who enter DDSC Club Championships
Please note a slight amendment to our entry procedure. The requirement to submit entry forms in advance still stands, and forms will continue to be provided on the bulletin board at the leisure centre in the weeks leading up to each event.
On arrival at the pool for each gala, swimmers are now required to visit a registration desk in the cafe area BEFORE going to get changed. Failure to register at the desk prior to the start time of the event will result in swimmers being excluded from the programme and therefore not allowed to complete their swims.
This will help team managers on the evening, and will remove the need for frantic running around trying to find out who is on poolside and who isn't. It will also prevent the need to swim any heats with empty lanes due to swimmers being absent.
Thanks for your support in implementing this small, but important change.
