As most people will be aware by now, FINA have stated new rulings around swimwear. The link below gives details in full, including all technical specifications and allowances for swimwear.

In a nutshell, the parts that will interest most club swimmers are as follows:

We must also remember to observe the ruling that only one swimsuit can be worn at a time.

These new FINA rulings are being fully applied by British Swimming and ASA, and as such all competitions that DDSC swimmers enter will be governed by these conditions. In line with this, the rulings will also apply to our internal club championships.

This ruling comes into force on January 1st 2010.

Parents - you've been warned.... full body suits and legskins are available very cheaply at the moment, but would not make a good Christmas present!
